Changzhou Sibida New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in June 2014, mainly dedicated to the design, production, and sales of bracket installation systems and surrounding supporting products for solar power plants. Currently, the products are mainly exported to the Japanese market. SUMIDA Corporation is a Japanese family owned enterprise located in Hiroshima with a history of 90 years. The company mainly engages in the development, sales, and civil engineering of solar power plants. Since 2014, the two companies have gradually established a close cooperative relationship. Combining the Japanese side's keen sense of the Japanese market and the Chinese side's product development and manufacturing integration capabilities, the two companies began developing a product mainly targeting the Japanese market in July 2015 and passed the appraisal of authoritative testing institutions in Japan in May 2017. In February 2018, after discussion, the two companies decided to establish a joint venture to produce and sell new products.
